Navy blue,
Inky blue,
Mid blue,
Baby blue,
All blue is true
To its wish to
Delight us.
Sea blue,
Sky blue,
Natural blue,
Relaxing for you.
Dresden china blue,
Wedgewood too,
Blue is beautiful,
Fresh, invigorating,
Appealing, captivating.
From coastal cool
To Arts and Crafts,
Patterned intricate blue,
To a blue botanical bloom
It safe to assume
Blue is sometimes favoured!
Punchy blue hinting green,
Or turquoise blue
Like kingfisher,
Somewhere in between,
All a God made shade.
Victorians, Edwardians liked blue
We do too!
A bathroom choice
Blue gives voice to
Fresh cleanliness.
And guess what is timeless,
Classic blue.
White with blue
Never tires
Especially when chintzy.
Pretty in prints
Hzybitzy patterns.
Dusky indigo
Moves towards grey,
Whilst forget me not blue
Steals the day.
Blissful blue,
Bountiful and beautiful,
Aren’t you glad,
Happy through and through,
Our Creator Father
Thought of blue!
Lord, I did not used to like blue very much at all. That was until You opened my eyes more widely to look to see Your beauty in the immediate surroundings. Then of course, I discovered a variety of blue and I learned to find real pleasure in this. Thank You. I appreciate Your help so I did not miss out on one of the joys in life!
Amen.
